Just as an add on to this post: This is the first time I've ever picked up a guitar in my life! Let me just tell you that after like 30 minutes of playing with it last night my fingers are dying. And then I tried for like an hour today to play one chord! It's hard! Like anything, it takes time and practice but I sure hope my fingers get tough or else I won't be playing guitar lol. It might not sound pretty but I'm working on my joyful noise!

I know it's REALLY hard to play with Band-aids on your fingers. You might not want to try it.Keep practicing it does get easier and after a while you won't even have to look. Maybe we could start a 'small group' or something.

Keep at it and don't give up. I am learning the tin whistle, but don't tell anyone! It still sounds like I am shredding a bird.
