I have a...TRUE STORY!

I hope that you're are all basking in the love and doing great! I cannot begin to express what this past weekend has meant to me. Words wouldn't do it justice.

I do, however, have to share how the Lord has been moving in my life since I've been back in the "real world".

After having the tiring, yet ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL weekend that we all had, I had to get right back into the swing of things Monday morning with an 8:30 am meeting (which I ended up 10 minutes late for, but was shown some grace and even thanked for coming in earlier than my usual work hours). Monday evening, I decided that although I had numerous tasks to catch up on (ie. SLEEP, laundry, dishes...) that I would instead take my darling daughter out back to play for a little while. As I stood pushing her on the swing, the breeze surrounding us felt so wonderful and we were engrossed in laughter. Then, it hit me! The whole yard was shaded except for one sunny patch...right where we were. We were in the light!! HE was shining his light on us! I couldn't resist running for my camera to capture the beauty of the sun glowing through the trees.

Tuesday proved to be yet another great day. I had the day off and I got to snuggle with my daughter in our pjs for quite awhile and just spend the day together.

But wait! It get's so much better...

This morning, as I departed the elevator on the 2nd floor of my office building and headed for a routine task, I looked down the hall and saw the most wonderful sight...my new and dear friend...none other than Adrienne Russell! As Brandee likes to put it, "WOOHOO!"
