Greetings & A Prayer Request

Hello sisters!

I hope this finds each of you well and enjoying the beauty around us as the seasons change and the leaves turn.

I would like to ask for prayers...tomorrow at 2:30pm I have a job interview for a full-time position. It sounds like an exciting opportunity and since I'm currently working only 12-15 hrs. per week going full-time would definitely help our financial situation. And most likely I would be eligible for health benefits, etc. which would be a big help since I have been without coverage for approx. 5 years (self-employed and then part-time). However, there is a downside that I am struggling with. If I was to take a full-time position, I would be giving up and missing some things that are important to me...such as being the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Mentor Mom, attending field trips and volunteering at my daughter's school, picking her up every day and spending the afternoon together, etc. Not to mention that I really like where I'm at (aside from limited hours and no benefits) and the thought of getting back to full-time hours after not doing so for 8 years!

So, it's kind of a battle between where my heart is leading me and where common sense is leading me. In reality, I know I need to trust the Lord and go where He leads. So, I would appreciate your prayers for peace of mind and that I would hear the Lord clearly as I go through the interviewing process, and if selected, the decision making process of deciding if this is the path I need to take.

Thank you in advance for your prayers...I will update with news as soon as I have some.

I can't wait to see some of you again at the next Ultreya.

Love to you all!

Gabrielle
